How to use Third Frame
Turn your job photos into a cinematic before-and-after video in three easy steps.
Step 1
Take your photos with the video in mind
You don't need a professional camera, your phone is perfect. But a few habits make a big difference to the final video:
Keep the same angle and distance
Stand roughly where you were before, and take the 'after' shot from the same spot. Think 'before and after', not 'wide shot then close-up'. The more your shots line up, the smoother and more impressive the transition.
Shoot in a walking order
If you're covering more than one room, or the outside and inside of a property, take a photo at each point along the way, front door → hallway → the room itself, rather than jumping straight from an outside shot to an inside one. The app links each photo to the next, so it needs a path to follow.
Upload in the order they happened
From the very start of the job to the very end. If you're picking through your camera roll rather than shooting fresh, double check the order before uploading, it's an easy thing to get backwards by accident.
3 to 10 photos works best
